How do you feel about cold weather?

I enjoy cold weather, but as I now live in a moderate climate, our winter hardly fits the term of being called ‘winter’.

We hardly experience autumn.. there is a variance of temperatures that we witness in summer, but the beautiful changing colour of foliage is virtually non-existent.

Our area is quite close to the coast, so we experience strong winds most of the year. The winter temperature averages about 10 degrees Celsius, late nights’ and some early mornings. Temperatures will occasionally slide down to 4 degrees, and as one ventures further west of the town, outlying properties can experience heavy frosts.

Winter is just ‘snuggle’ weather when one is wrapped in  layers of  warm rugs and warms their hands on a hot beverage.

Our area is frequented by many visitors during winter, escaping their own freezing conditions of snow or heavy frosts.

I’ve lived in other areas of our beautiful country where the four seasons were abundantly present, and winter was definitely a chilly experience but still something I enjoyed.
