Do you remember life before the internet?

I grew up in the 1960s, so computers or internet weren’t around then. I remember for my first job  I had to travel 500 miles to a bigger city to learn skills so I would be a better employee for the business where I worked. 

Roll on 30 years and computers .. mobile phones and the internet were all the ‘buzz’..

Is the world a better place for all of this technology? One must say yes when you think of the advancement in many fields. Health directives and developments with mechanised equipment and communication?.???…

Give me the older days when people cared more for their fellow workers.  Conversations  were verbal interactions   between two people. And hugs were real and not little icons in a page..

I struggle with the internet and ever fast technology because when it breaks down, people forget how to behave respectfully.
