Who do you spend the most time with?

I share my day with my cat and my husband. I have had my cat for 15 years and have been married for 6 years.

My cat chose my husband …weird eh….but I was friends with him for about 6 months and distance separated us so we use to talk on phone or Skype…then I met him a couple of times away from my house. The first time he came to my house my Cat rushed up to ‘meet him’ she meowed and then rubbed her tail up & down his leg and then sat facing him and gazed up at him and meowed again???

He asked what is going on with your cat ?? He had never lived with an animal before… I replied She has just welcomed you into our family…

When he returned home my cat was sad and if I mentioned my friends name she got all excited. From then on, when he visited, she would rush out and meow at him until he said hello..

So I married him and my cat is pleased. She greets him with a meow each morning and when he goes away from house for a few days ( maybe to hospital)  she gets very sad and isn’t happy until he returns.

She has never reacted to anyone else like that, so I believe she chose him to be part of our family.
