Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.

My husband always tells me it is because of my maiden name ( Lister) that I enjoy writing Lists and planning things on lists.

He knows when I’m considering a holiday , because I’ve my head glued to the computer screen with pen and paper at the ready and muttering to myself.

I like to organise the whole holiday as I find I can get a better deal than going through some booking platform which may seem cheaper in price but all the rules and regulations that one has to follow is too bewildering for me. I used them in the past but have been let down too many times.

I’m on a first name basis with most of the booking staff of the hotels we stay at in our nearest big city to where we live. I find it delightful to chat to staff who remember my name, and often they know of great deals and bargains that we might  use .

Everything looks good on paper, but the Holiday Blues set in when we arrive at the first destination, and the husband realises he’s left something important at home…

He laments on the thought of how complicated our holiday might turn out to be because he realises it is best to leave all the planning to The List Maker.

I don’t know about you but there’s nothing better than planning the perfect holiday.  Did someone stay perfect.. I always feel like I need a holiday after I’ve come home from a holiday…

Hmmmm… Holiday blues…
