Life hasn’t been an easy street for me and there have been many days in my younger years when I lost the will to continue with life.

Words can hurt or heal us and if someone had said to me “Never give up” instead of..pull yourself together- or  just get over it- or some other phrase that felt suffocatingly uncomfortable I’m sure the path back to a happier frame of mind would have been an easier one..
