What animals make the best/worst pets?

It’s not the animals themselves that make the ‘best/worse’ pets its the person or persons who thought that they were utmostly prepared for what ever situation came along and then slipped up in a proverbially trough of excrement left by the pet.

It is like having a baby and leaving them to look after themselves instead of being a loving, caring, teaching parent to the baby so that they will learn skills that will set then up for life.

No difference at all.

Teach them well.
