How do you unwind after a demanding day?

I’m very experienced at ‘winding down’ after another demanding day because most days are filled with extreme challenges…

I’ve probably tried most of the ‘ managing techniques ‘ known to modern man and exhausted a whole batch of reasoning spat out from counsellors..psychologists.. and bought every do good/ feel good book that’s ever been published..popped all kinds & colours of pills to keep my head & heart from racing…

The method that works for me after all these years in mindfulness and just doodling with my pen.

With mindfulness, I can overcome some great disaster evolving before my eyes … I just refocus on something pleasant and block out the rest…

I also carry a small notebook & a black pen and draw abstract things and as long as I’m focusing on the ink that is flowing from the pen onto the paper and not judging whatever I’m drawing the world is my oyster.
