Share a story about someone who had a positive impact on your life.

I’ve had lots of struggles in life when those that one thinks should be your protector and guide let you down – turn the other cheek.  close the door.. the road back up seems a lonely path.

I always give credit to my daughter in law she has been my shining light over the past 20 years… it may seem  strange that someone younger is the person I look up to, but she always has an encouraging word and she listens to what I have to say… we haven’t seen each other for nearly 7 years. She lives 6 hours away by plane from me, but our hearts and minds are on the same path. Always beating as one.
