Sometimes, I hang into things way too long that I feel an attachment with .. you know that lucky rabbits’ foot someone gave you as a child.. or an old school report card where a teacher wrote something nice … get my drift.
Well, the attachment I have with procrastination is a real one and I know how to give it the heave ho… but I’m just comfortable with it all.
I remember years ago I had a lovely old Aunt who, when she was waiting for someone to come she would sit patiently hands clasped together on her lap and twiddle her thumbs because she said it kept her calm.
A new doctor came to her town, and he noticed what she did whilst waiting and said I could give you a ‘pill’ for that ! He did, and she took it, and she never tiddled her thumbs again ..ever!!
What’s one small improvement you can make in your life?
Well, there would be a pill for my procrastinating, but it’s manageable, and I do not find it a hindrance but a comfortable part of me that I don’t want to change.

I write out a weekly planner for chores to be done, and if there is lots to do on a certain day, I write a separate note of all the different things that must be done.
I know modern phones & computers have reminder pop-ups, but I’m a little old-fashioned and prefer the paper note stuck on the refrigerator.
I imagine that’s why I’m not a successful writer with my name appearing on books and billboards across the country..
