If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

It would be an interesting time around a table set for dinner, and I’m not sure how many people I would be allowed to invite but I would love to sit amongst and chat with authors- wordsmiths… like I call myself. 

People whose books I have read have drawn me into their souls..The two people I would mention first would be Harper Lee, who wrote To Kill a Mockingbird, and Paulo Coelho, who has written many books, but my all-time favourite is The Alchemist. I tell people the story of this book, but I will not loan it out because I have lost too many copies. No, they would have to read it at my house!

Lots of authors  have impacted my life like Enid Blyton…I loved her stories they swept me away from the trauma of home to a lovely place to hide.

Yes,  I’ve read many books  over my 60+ years . Have met many because I worked in a bookstore… but definitely authors would be my choice as dinner guests.
