One has to be totally aware of so many things these days when they are setting out on a new journey, often embarking on a pathway that may have many pitfalls and dangers around the next corner.
There is a particular device called an EPIRB that is a position tracker if one gets lost or falls into an unsuspecting trap of some kind.
Always have documentation of your expected route left with someone before you start of your lourney. Carry battery packs, a small medical kit , a notepad and pen for writing on…and spare clothing and nourishing food and refreshment as safety measures. Just a few ideas that will secure your journey and make it safer.
