What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?

I visited the UK ten years ago and a relative took me to a really expensive restaurant where one paid a high price for the food because of the Chefs name .. The food was nicely cooked and the  2 course meal cost £70.

I would have sooner gone to a pie shop and had pie n mushy peas and mashed potato meal.
