What do I enjoy about writing? Well how long have you got and are you prepared to write a comment about my post or just hit the proverbial LIKE button that I immensely dislike!
Writing is a form of personal expression of one’s thoughts that can be displayed in many different ways. Sixty years ago, I used to handwrite to 10 penfriends across the world. Then my Mum bought me a typewriter, and that was quicker than open handwriting and a lot neater.. A few years into my working life, someone cleverly invented electric typewriters, and then computers gripped everyone’s fascination.
There’s nothing like reading a letter that was written by hand over fifty years ago.
Writing fills diaries.. shopping lists, daily planner lists, home-made recipe books, notes for everyone to read on the fridge.
Yes writing is enjoyable and us something that will always be with us
