Wild animals roam free

Do you ever see wild animals?

So what is the definition of a ‘ wild animal’…. to me it is an animal that is not restricted by a boundary like a cage or an area that is fenced off…

Where I live in Australia,  kangaroos come onto the property at dusk and leave just before daylight. They are wild because they are native to this land and people have taken over their feeding and hunting grounds. They are not a threat to humans unless there temperament has been altered and they are defending themselves or other members of their animal family.

Last night I heard possums in the trees and they are native to this country and technically wild animals but they are no threat to humans but like kangaroos they are a threat to the vegetation and crops that people grow because they eat the crops.
