What colleges have you attended?

I didn’t go to college when I left school I just rolled off one assembly line (school) and on to ‘ the workforce line’.

My first paid position was as an office clerk in a Bank in the early ’70’s and as we lived in a country area some 500 miles from the biggest City in our state they used to send us off to learn things in their Head Office there in the City. I’m talking about before computers and ‘online’ learning.

I’ve never had jobs where I needed a real College education. I guess I was a girl who could handle whatever work I could find. When I retired from work, I did a few online College courses but never put into practice what I learnt.

Now, I’m definitely a retired retiree looking to take up writing and hoping I do not have to go to college to succeed with that.
